I aspire to become a Data Scientist!
I am a 2nd year MS student at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Computing and Information. I am studying Information Sciences, which is considered to be a combination of coursework in Computer Science and Data Science / Data Analytics. I love to work with data. I try to do research and experimentation to find out the hidden pattens in the data. I am also interested in predictive analysis using mathematical/statistical modeling to find solutions to problems or gain information.
However, when talking about my past industry experience, I have been a Data Engineer for about 8 years. I have worked with some of the largest and most prestigious BFS(Banking and Financial Services) and Healthcare organizations. I have extensive experience with team building and client communications. I aim to augment my industrial expertize with my MS analytical coursework and enter a career of Data Analytics/Machine Learning and Software Engineering.
